Religious Education Department structure

The Sunday School or EBD is its largest sector and is divided in classes for all ages every Sunday at 9a. The EBD is responsible for special activities such as tributes, special programming around holidays, the Prayer Breakfast every month’s first Sunday, EBF (Vacation Bible School) and the State, National and Worldwide missionary campaigns.

The Christian Growth Department or DCC is currently composed by the Adults Group and Unijovem (Youth Group) who meet every Sunday at 18:30 for Bible study and issues related to contemporary Christian life. The DCC is responsible for training and developing leaders for the inclusion and participation of various church groups. The Unijovem is involved in Bible studies, training courses and outreach activities, it also responsible for socialization activities what seek fellowship and closeness between young people, adolescents and adults.

Missionary organizations have a different character from other religious education organizations, they meet only on the last Sunday of each month, to handle and coordinate the strategies and actions of the church’s various missionary groups. Those are missionary organizations of the Memorial Baptist Church: Christian Women in Action (MCA), Men's Missionary Group (UMH), King’s Ambassadors (ER) and Mission Friends (AM).

The MCA is the oldest and most active organization of Memorial Church, and, like most Baptist churches, the MCA is indistinguishable from the church’s very productive heart. It promotes prayer meetings, outreach events, general social action, provides scholarships for music, fellowship meetings and is actively participant of the Central Baptist Association (ABC) staff.

The UMH is more recent than the MCA in our church, but seeks to integrate men into the motivation for missionary work. as a space for reflection on man's place in the general Baptist community and church itself. The UMH is the ER's (King’s Ambassadors) and Friends of Missions parent organization. The King’s Ambassadors and Friends of Missions aims to prepare children (boys and girls) and preadolescents and adolescents boys in biblical knowledge and gospel’s history.

Missionaries organizations gather monthly every last Sunday at 6PM and 6:30PM
